Do you swim from sensation or from mechanics to get a good technique? May I suggest you think about what swimming feels like, in order to work with the water, interactively, rather than mechanically. I believe mechanical approach can cause a swimmer to impose themselves on the water rather than cultivation a relationship with the water, a more effective way way of swimming. How do you do this ? Primarily, sensational swimming is accomplished by paying attention to what the water is doing to you. For example can you feel the flows of the water over the backs of your knees? Why is that important ? Subscribe to my free weekly newsletter for a month to find out more.
